This tilts me too. I think I enjoy the movie at 10% less than I normally would. Even worse is when they show like a 15 minute commercial masquerading as a movie. That steams me hard.
you'd rather watch the 15 slide slide-show of local ads with the same "name that move" word scramble every 4th slide and trivia question every 5th?

I forgot to ad...while they play new music from some not-good-and-not-up-and-coming-as-they claim, band over the speakers?
this pet peeve of the week segment is my pet peeve of the week.
The thing is, they show the commercials after the start of the showing. You go to a 10 PM showing, they show commercials from like 9:55-10:05, then trailers. The local ads were always before the showing.
Unfortunately the placement timing of these ads is because of people like you, Moon. Thanks from all the rest of us, we don't like it either.
