NBA Playoff Observations

1. The three best basketball players are Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, and LeBron James. Interestingly, only one of these players survived round one.

2. The most likable team left is the Boston Celtics. No other team uses their talent as efficiently, and nobody else plays with more passion, desire, and wisdom.

3. Oklahoma City has been miscast as a heroic up and coming whippersnapper. The reality is the Thunder are the most talented team in the league. However, there is nothing they do which is endearing. Their players are simply superior, though they do not maximize their talent as well as the veteran squads. OKC should be the West's villainous powerhouse, the yin to Miami's yang, for many years to come.

4. Russell Westbrook has emerged as the league's second most odious superstar behind Kobe Bryant.

5. In the second round of the playoffs, OKC will beat Memphis in five games, LA will beat Dallas in six, Chicago will beat Atlanta in four or five and Boston will beat Miami in six.

As a Thunder fan, I agree with you about Westbrook. He may end up costing the Thunder a championship one day

Players better than Chris Paul -

Derrick Rose - the easiest comparison because he pretty much does everything better and finishes at 10+ at the rim where Chris Paul can barely get a floater off.

Dwayne Wade

Kevin Durant

I'm never forgiving you for that Celtics comment.

lol @ Chris Paul...he's good but nowhere near great since his injuries.

I'd definitely take Rondo over him, and probably Deron Williams at this point.

...Not to mention Derick Rose who is so head and shoulders above all these PGs right now it's ridiculous that he's not in your top 3.

Did you Chris Paul haters watch the games? That team is horrrrrrrible. Rose plays with nothing but excellent players; Paul is stealing games with total buffoons.

Lol. Paul had a good series where his unrealiable shot went down a few times. Saying that Rose plays with excellent players is lol - All-stars - CJ watson, Bogans, deng, boozer, noah, Taj gibson, kyle korver. 1st ballot hall of famers for sure.

I'd much rather play with a crunch-time lineup of Deng, Boozer, Noah, & Korver than Ariza, Jack, Landry, & Belinelli. I think I'd rather play with four random guys at the Y.

Just like to point out that right now your favorites for all four series lost game 1.

Not hating, just sayin.
