I love most of the picks, but I gotta disagree with the MVP and LVP, not necessarily because they were undeserving but because of philosophical differences. An MVP cannot lose a series, let alone nearly disappear in a game 7. And Farmar, for as poorly as he played didn't cost his team a series. I'd go MVP: Tayshaun Prince; LVP: Deron Williams. Did he have any big games for a guy who is supposed to be one of the top point guards in the world?

Biggest whiner - love that suggestion. Expect a "Biggest Flopper" or "Biggest Whiner" sort of post soon.

The MVP thing is ridiculous, your top two lost the series. Why nobody appreciates what Tim Duncan does is just beyond me. You cannot win the MVP while losing the series. Deron Williams was outplayed by Kobe in that series, and it's not even close. If you recall, before Kobe got hurt he was scoring a very efficient 35 points a game for the first three games. But, it's obvious that you have a bias against the lakers, or just haven't been watching, because they're home crowds have been fantastic. Simmons actually mentioned them as possibly the best crowd for the playoffs so far. The Lakers record at home so far: 5-0.

having said that, nothing anybody has written is more ludicrous than Deron Williams for LVP. The guy had a fantastic series, it just wasn't as good as it needed to be.

Okay - Tim Duncan played like crap on offense. Anyone that watched all the games knows the three best players the last series were Paul, Deron Williams, and Kobe.

If Deron was better than Kobe, he would have at LEAST forced a game 7. Which, he couldn't do. Because he lost on his home floor. Victories are what matters, and neither Deron or CP was able to come up with a big enough game at the most crucial times to pull it out. The rule ALWAYS in basketball betting is #1 - who has the best player on the floor. And the Lakers and Spurs did more often than not. Duncan indeed didn't have the best offensive series, but his efforts on the defensive end are no less important. And when it mattered the most, in game 7, he outplayed ya boy, CP3, and got the victory.

Dude seriously, those two point guards were the best players on the floor far more often than not. The rest of the players on their teams were inferior to their counterparts, unfortunately.
