I am constantly trying to decide if I should keep hope of my dreams alive, or if I should learn to live with the knowledge that they will never come true.
If you don't have a dream then what's the point of even living. Your dream is what drives you to be better than you currently are, motivates you to achieve things that are seemingly unachievable.
I know that I've said you'll never be a champion at anything, but that was merely a ploy to motivate you. Champions get up after getting knocked down, don't prove me right, this is one thing I don't want to be right about.
Your potential is limited only by you. I'm gonna slap you silly next time I see you if I hear anymore of this nonsensical bullshit about giving up on your dream. I don't care what the hell your dream is, just fucking go after it with reckless abandonment.
You always lecture me about doing things in moderation, but what about you? One week, you're "the best cash game player in the world", the next, you think you suck at everything in life. Get a grip on yourself, think of who you are, devise a plan and see if you could execute on it. Fucking guy!
I agree with naps. I think you are letting your competitive side get the best of you moon. I know you love sports. I do too. But poker is not one. It's just a game.
Brava Nappy, brava! I think we should all get a turn slapping Moon in the face, if for no other reason than that we can get away with it.
Moon, if you think that your options are 1) give up on your dream, or 2) try and fail, you're clearly missing the pretty sweet third option: try and succeed. I'm guessing that right now you're looking at the big picture when what you really need to do is think small. If your dream is to be a sports journalist then register for Journalism classes for the fall. Don't think about how hard it is to get a job at ESPN!

And even if you do fall into category 2- try and fail... at least you tried man. It's the effort not the result that is the reward IMO.
Next time cut vertically. This horizontal shit will only stain your clothes.
Did Pickett just subtly call Nappy a woman?
Bag - you were on such a roll with LOL blog comments...until the previous one which makes no sense.
Bag's comment flew over your head Nappy.
(brava=feminine)
I don't think you get to choose.

I couldn't agree with Nappy more. Without a dream, why get out of bed? The short and sweet Trumiefish Guide to Healthy Living:
It starts with a dream.
Change dreams to schemes.
Schemes to plans.
Plans to details.
Details to heart and determination.
All successful dreams come down to heart and determination. Got em?
