Single Thought of a Single Man
Not long ago I was talking to some guys about using 4 Ss to evaluate women - sexy, smart, sane, and single - and which was the most dispensable. A couple guys said single, and then the one married man in the room said that obviously sane was the first to go, since all women are completely insane. And I thought - I couldn't agree more, that guy knows what he's talking about.

I find that a surprising statement coming from you Tom. It seems to me that statements like this come from people who have either been in a very long, not so great relationship or have been in many short, not so great relationships. You, as far I know, have been in neither.
As a woman who does consider herself to be "sane", I have to wholeheartedly disagree with your friend. If I were to speak/think on the same level as him I could easily say the reason us woman are "insane" is because we have to put up with you men on a daily basis ;)

I don't think I've ever heard you say that. Maybe he's the one!
You have ridiculously low standards for a partner: you're looking for a sexy, single, smart woman who apparently needs to be neither sane nor have a good personality, sense of humor, or anything in common with you whatsoever.
Though, Wolf makes a very good point: if you really do think that all women are crazy, then maybe your should start turning to men. I can think of one sexy, smart, single man who loves Catan, beer, Boulder and football who you might reallllly hit it off with.
Tom, I don't check up on your blog enough... I love the "single thoughts of a single man" entries and your blunt honesty about where you are in life and how you are feeling about it.
You will always find what you are looking for, so look for something good.
