My 100 Favorite Songs: #8

Thelma Houston - Don't Leave Me This Way

Normally I think musical taste is a matter of opinion, not fact - but this is unquestionably the greatest disco song ever, and that cannot be argued.

Apparently it can be argued. I looked up various lists of the best disco songs, and none have it as the top. This had it the highest I could find - http://www.mademan.com/mm/10-best-disco-songs-all-time.html

Sorry Moon :)

I like the song, but no "Stayin' Alive"? Come on with that. Were you even alive in the '70s?

I'm still with you Moon. It should be higher than #8 IMO. One of the most powerful songs there is. No FTOPS is complete without it.

Is this posting a joke Tom?

The funny thing is that despite your unwarranted leap towards hyperbole, there is probably a fact in all of this and that fact is this: This song is definitely not the greatest disco song ever made.
