always love looking at the picks, but couldn't understand at all how Dolphins covering against Texans was your top pick of the week.

Even if you think they're going to, Houston is so explosive, there were a handful of games on the board that didn't feel like they'd have that kind of risk.

What was the logic?

Coming in I felt like the 'Phins were the superior team and they were getting points, at home, and had the psychological advantage to boot. The Phins got run over by the best team in the NFL in week one while the Texans trounced the worst. The new Phins offense and Chad Henne looked powerful in week one which were the main things I was looking for vs a team whose offense may not be stopped by anyone.

After watching the game I can say I may have given Miami (particularly on O) a little too much credit coming into this season and may not have given Houston enough.

While this was a legit Texans win and cover (SPOILER ALERT) an early look at the Week Three lines reveals the public still feels more extremely about both of these teams than I do.

I definitely think you have overestimated the Dolphins in your early season previews and picks this year. I myself have a lot of respect for the coach and what he has done over the past couple of seasons, but this team is undermanned at basically every skill position on the field, and it shows in their play. I know Henne had a solid week throwing the ball in Week 1, but I can only assume based on past experience that will prove to be the aberration, not the norm.
