A cool post from the forums:

"I can't put into words what this episode has done for my confidence. Every time I’ve changed my game to a more aggressive preflop style, I go on a down swing. It is refreshing to know a limited 3 bet style game can be successful.

I was a part time long term winning on-line player for years. I joined a training site and promptly went on massive down swing until I slowed down my preflop aggression. I feel that I’m a better post flop player. It benefits my game to keep a high Stack to pot ratio. Getting a lot of money in preflop reduces my advantage. I want to give my opponents tough post flop decisions. I can do that by keeping the pot small before the flop.

I can consistently beat $.5-$1 with a strong post flop game. When I try to play more a pre-flop gambling style, I tend to lose or at best break even. When I played $1-$2 I thought I had gamble preflop with 4 bets to show that I could be pushed around and folding too much would just make me a target.

This episode showed me that a post flop game with good hand reading skills can be a successful style at limits higher than what I play.

A BIG THANK YOU to both Thomas and Jeremiah for a great show."
